Can you match my existing timber?

We do our best to match the species, profile and size of your existing timber. For common decking profiles like Merbau or pine, this is usually straightforward. For older or unusual profiles, we'll discuss the closest available match with you before ordering materials.

Should I repair or replace my deck?

It depends on how much of the structure is affected. If just a few boards are rotting but the frame is solid, repair is cost-effective. If more than 30–40% of the boards are damaged or the frame has significant rot, a full replacement usually makes better long-term sense. We'll give you an honest assessment.

How long will the repairs last?

Properly repaired and sealed timber should last many years. The key is ongoing maintenance — an annual oil or seal keeps moisture out and UV from breaking down the timber. We can set up a reminder if you'd like us to come back each year.

Do you do pergola repairs?

Yes — cracked beams, rotting fascia boards, failing joist hangers and general structural repairs. We assess the overall condition and repair what's needed. For major structural work (full rebuilds, council permits), we can advise on what path to take.

Can you paint or stain after the repair?
