Cabinetry & joinery questions answered

Do you supply the materials or do I need to organise that?

Either works. You can supply the flatpack or materials and we'll do the labour, or we can quote you a full supply-and-install price. For custom work, we'll advise on the best materials for your budget and organise everything. Just let us know what you prefer when you get in touch.

Can you build into a rental property without damaging walls?

Yes — we use fixings that go into studs where possible, and the right anchors for hollow walls when needed. For rental properties, we can also use freestanding or semi-permanent solutions that don't require drilling if that's what your lease requires.

Can you match my existing cabinetry style?

We'll do our best to source matching materials and hardware. For existing cabinetry repairs, bring us photos and we can usually find matching hinges, handles and board finishes. For new additions, we can match the door style, colour and hardware to blend in.

How long does a built-in wardrobe take to install?

A standard single-bay built-in wardrobe typically takes half a day to a full day depending on complexity. A larger multi-bay fit-out or walk-in wardrobe could take one to two days. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote the job.

Do you do kitchen cabinet repairs?

Yes — hinge replacement, door realignment, drawer repair, broken shelf supports, damaged panels and cabinet door handle replacement are all jobs we handle regularly. If you're looking for a full kitchen renovation, that's beyond our scope, but for repairs and modifications we're your first call.
